Advanced Systems
Defense
Defense-related applications of sensing, integration, and security.
Overview
What this covers.
Protocol is in the early stages of evaluating where its work in sensing, systems integration, and security could apply to defense-related requirements. Many of the same problems appear at a different scale: physical and digital systems procured separately, sensors that do not inform decisions, and integration that arrives late. The work is about establishing where that overlap is real and where it is not, and which of those problems better integration can actually address.
Open questions
What is being worked through.
01
Where do defense-related requirements overlap with the security problems Protocol is built around?
02
Which parts of a defense system are constrained by physics, and which by acquisition?
03
Where does sensor data fail to reach the people making decisions?
04
How can systems from different suppliers share one accurate picture?
